French Press coffee is heavy bodied & dense. It is easy to use & takes about 4 minutes to brew a cup.
Before starting, bring about 350 ml of water to boil. While the water boils grind your coffee beans.
French Press coffee requires coarse and evenly ground coffee powder.
We recommend 1:10 coffee-to-water ratio to start with. So for 350 ml of water you'll need 30 grams of coffee.
Add the coffee grounds to French Press and pour almost twice the amount of water compared to the grounds.
Gently paddle the water soaked coffee grounds.
Let the coffee bloom for 30 seconds.
Now pour the remaining water over coffee and place the lid gently on top. Don't plunge yet.
Let the coffee steep for four minutes.
At exactly 4:00 you're ready to press. Firmly and steadily push the press all the way down.
